Life goes by so fast ~ but we don’t realize it till many years have come to pass ~ cause I remember when I was just a child ~ & I would try to imagine my future & what it beholds ~ cause of some of the discomforts that come with being a child & wishing I were old ~ only to grow up & treasure my memories as a youth like gold ~ when I realized how tough it can be growing old ~ & the heartaches that we will have to endure as we grow ~ I only wish I knew then what I know now ~ the reason in fall the leaves turn that golden shade of brown
